Team Fastrax™ will perform their much anticipated American Flag demonstration jump as part of Black Saturday at the upcoming Appalachian State Mountaineers and Wake Forest Demon Deacons game on Saturday, September 23rd, 2017. The Mountaineers are a Division I FBS team in the Sun Belt Conference. The game starts at 3:30 pm, and as part of the opening ceremony, Team Fastrax™ will jump in with their majestic 1,800 sq. ft. American Flag as well as the ASU flag, and yellow smoke.

John Hart, Owner of Start Skydiving, and Founder of Team Fastrax™ said, “We are honored to be performing our patriotic American Flag skydive for the Appalachian State Football game, especially since this is their first meeting against Wake Forest in Boone. It’s sure to be a great game.”

This performance of Team Fastrax™ is going to be dedicated to Army Sgt. Rafael E. Bigai Baez. For more information on Sgt. Rafael E. Bigai Baez, visit the Military Times website.

According to the Appalachian State Football website, there will also be fireworks that coincide with ASU taking the field right before kickoff. In addition to the improved concession options that were available in 2016, there are two new food vendors inside Kidd Brewer Stadium this year. A food truck from The Cardinal, which is known for offering classic American road food with fresh ingredients, will be parked on the walkway near the new scoreboard and spectator hill. J&J’S Hawaiian Ice will have a location near the main ticket gate. A food truck from All Thai’d Up (ice cream rolls and smoothies) will be outside the East gate plaza.

Team Fastrax™ is sponsored by SELECTiON.COM®, a leading provider of criminal background checks and pre-employment screening services. They are the most ambitious professional skydiving team in the world. The team has a roster of more than twenty-nine active members, with a collective of more than 300,000 skydives. Team Fastrax™ has performed exhibition skydives all over the world for audiences large and small as a patriotic display or as a product promotion.
