The 80th Annual Hyundai Sun Bowl is being held at the Sun Bowl Stadium in El Paso, TX on Tuesday, December 31st. As part of the opening ceremony, Team Fastrax will be skydiving in with the game ball.
The Sun Bowl is scheduled to start at 12pm (MST) on December 31st, and will feature Virginia Tech and UCLA. Team Fastrax will be performing a patriotic aerial display during the opening ceremony, and will also be delivering the game ball. The performance will include their 3,700 sf flag, 2,500 sf flag, 2,000 sf flag, and 1,100 sf flag, and is sure to be an amazing site to behold. For the full story, click here.
Texas Tech University will be holding a “Lone Survivor” game on Saturday, November 9, 2013. The game will pay tribute to veterans and personnel of the United States Military.
According to the Texas Tech website, in conjunction with the Lone Survivor Foundation, the Military Order of the Purple Heart and Under Armour, Texas Tech University will present the “Lone Survivor Game” on Saturday, Nov. 9, when the Red Raiders take on the Kansas State Wildcats at Jones AT&T Stadium. Based on the harrowing story of former Navy SEAL and fellow Texan, Marcus Luttrell, the Lone Survivor Game will bring national recognition to the Lone Survivor Foundation as well as pay tribute to our nation’s veterans, and the active duty personnel of the United States Military.
The much anticipated ‘Work Stinks! Boogie’, by Start Skydiving, is being held in Middletown, OH from August 20th through September 2nd. Events go on all weekend, including a spectacular fireworks show on Saturday.
The Work Stinks Boogie is a skydiving festival held at the Start Skydiving Dropzone at 1711 Runway Dr., Middletown, OH 45042. This year will be the 6th annual boogie, and is sure to be the best so far. Events include world class organizers, rocking live entertainment, and of course skydiving! Saturday’s events include skydiving all day long, the Team Fastrax pyrotechnic aerial display, and the Selection.com fireworks show, which you’ll not soon forget. They are limiting the skydiving participants to 500 this year to manage the event and ensure the safety of patrons.
