Team Fastrax™ to Perform at Navy Football Game

Saturday, October 21st, Team Fastrax™ will perform their popular patriotic American Flag demonstration jump as part of the homecoming game and inaugural meeting of the Navy Midshipmen and nationally ranked University of Central Florida Knights. The game starts at 3:30pm, and as part of the opening ceremony, Team Fastrax™ will jump in with their majestic 2,000 sq. ft. American Flag.

John Hart, owner of Start Skydiving, and Founder of Team Fastrax™ said, “We are honored to be performing our patriotic American Flag skydive for the Navy football game. Members of Team Fastrax™ have served the United States of America as part of the Armed Forces, many in combat, so we particularly enjoy performing at any event that honors our nation’s military.”

According to the Navy Midshipmen Football website, UCF is the first ranked team to visit Annapolis since last October when Navy stunned #6 / #5 Houston, 46-40.  In 2015, Navy defeated #15 / #16 Memphis, 45-20, in the Liberty Bowl. Navy has not beaten a ranked team in three consecutive years since the 1940s when Navy beat at least one ranked team in five consecutive years (1941-45). Navy head football coach Ken Niumatalol has four wins against top-25 opponents which is tied with George Welsh for the second most in school history. Eddie Erdelatz holds the record with nine.

This performance of Team Fastrax™ will be dedicated to Navy Hospital Corpsman 3rd Class Christopher W. Thompson. For more information on him visit the Military Times website.

Team Fastrax™ is sponsored by SELECTiON.COM®, a leading provider of criminal background checks and pre-employment screening services. They are the most ambitious professional skydiving team in the world. The team has a roster of more than twenty-nine active members, with a collective of more than 300,000 skydives. Team Fastrax™ has performed exhibition skydives all over the world for audiences large and small as a patriotic display or as a product promotion.
