Skydiver performing with a large American flagStarting on Friday, May 10, 2019, the Preakness Festival at the Howard County Fairgrounds will open for the weekend.

At 5:45 PM on Friday, May 10 and Saturday, May 11, Spectators will look to the sky as Team Fastrax™ reverently jumps with their 2,000 sq. ft. American Flag.

“Team Fastrax™ is excited to be featured at the Preakness Festival for the first time this year,” commented John Hart, owner of Start Skydiving, and Founder of Team Fastrax™. “We are honored to be a part of the Hot Air Balloon Festival with such a long tradition.”

According to the Preakness Festival website, the family-friendly festival will consist of live music, food, a Ferris wheel, a competitive eating competition, and midway rides and games. There will also be hot air balloon and helicopter rides. During the entire weekend, there will be live musical performances.
