Sunday, July 24th, all the stars of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series will battle it out around the track at the Pocono Raceway, aka the “Tricky Triangle”, for the checkered flag. Just prior to the race, as the National Anthem starts to play, Team Fastrax™ will perform an amazing patriotic aerial display, which will include their 2,000 sq. ft. American Flag. Fans will also be treated to a special surprise. Team Fastrax™ couldn’t perform the secret reveal last week due to inclement weather.
“We are excited to perform on such a momentous weekend at the Pocono Raceway.” said John Hart, owner of Start Skydiving, and founder of Team Fastrax™. “It’s sure to be a tight race, and we can’t wait to see who wins. We are honored to be able kick things off and awe the crowd with our patriotic American Flag demonstration. It’s always a hit with the NASCAR fans.”
According to the Pocono Raceway website, live entertainment will be happening all weekend long, including DJ’s, Live Bands, Driver Appearances and more. Fans will also get to enjoy a free carnival in the Fan Fair area with rides and games Friday- Sunday. Fans are welcomed to join a special Gold Star Family ceremony at the flagpole by the entrance of Fan Fair on Sunday July 24th, at 10:30 am. Other races over the weekend will include the General Tire Delivers 200, CRC Brakleen 150, and Explore the Pocono Mountains 225.
