The Dayton Dragons will face off against the Bowling Green Hot Rods at Fifth Third Field in Dayton, OH for their Opening Day on April 4, 2019, at 7 p.m.
The Dayton Dragons Opening Day game against the Bowling Green Hot Rods is sure to be a night to remember. The National Anthem will be performed by the Miamisburg High School Madrigal Singers, winners of the Dayton Daily News national anthem contest.
During the pre-game festivities, Team Fastrax™ will jump in with their majestic 2,000 sq. ft. American Flag, the Dayton Dragons flag, and a red, white and blue streamer.

Fans can listen to the opening day game on Fox Sports 980 (WONE 980 AM) in Dayton, according to the Dayton Dragons website. The 2019 season is the Dayton Dragons 20th year at Fifth Third Field. Last year, The Dragons were the Midwest League nominee for Minor League Baseball’s “Patriot Award” for the third straight year based on the support of local military.
